Way back on a dark, cold and dank November morning in 1998 at one of the first Tonbridge Information Meetings in the Rose & Crown in Tonbridge, Robert French suggested to me that I could make a £million from BNI - I laughed.
I'm going to KL to tell my story to anyone who will listen and in a way to say thank you to Robert. I am very happy to let him have the last laugh, after all it was his faith in BNI helped Sycamore Design earn the £million that gives him the right to tell me "I told you so"!

For many reasons I am glad I went, I was able to meet up with old friends, make new ones and importantly- was bullied by Ivan, Thomas & Penny Power into finally signing up to ecademy. I am still waiting to see what business will come from the trip but as it was NOT my goal anything will be a bonus!
I can not wait to come back again; waiting 16 years was too long (I spent 6 weeks in Malaysia as part of and 18 month trip back in 91) but it left me in no doubt that Malaysia is a country I still love, and one that is destined for great things - so no excuses for not returning!
The KL08 team did a great job and deserve the gratitude of all those who attended. As a company we work with 4 of the UK's top exhibition & event organisers I know the pitfalls & challenges that face any event; and having been to many National BNI Conferences in the UK and 4 International BNI Conferences in the USA as an AD I am ideally placed to give you 5*****'s for the event.
